Our Story
Shilpya was born from a simple belief: that the artisans who create beautiful things deserve to be celebrated, not hidden. For years, we watched skilled craftspeople across India—metalworkers in Moradabad, wood carvers in Kerala, brass artisans in Gujarat—pour their hearts into creating stunning work, only to see middlemen take most of the profit.
We decided to change that.
In 2025, we launched Shilpya to connect these talented artisans directly with people who value authentic, handmade home décor. No middlemen. No mass production. Just honest pricing, fair wages, and beautiful craft.
Today, we work with artisan workshops across India, bringing you handcrafted wall art, mirrors, and clocks that transform spaces and support livelihoods. Each purchase helps preserve traditional Indian craftsmanship while giving artisans the recognition—and income—they truly deserve.
